We have always loved the mountains. I, Charlotte, went on many family hikes in the Alps during my youth, as my parents took us every summer to explore the mountain pastures. As for me, Dominique, I have been coming to Alpe d'Huez since I was born! My grandfather bought an apartment there in 1974, and I went there every winter until my parents bought their own in 1994. Since then, we have stayed there as often as possible, both in summer and winter, first just the two of us, then with our three children, who love the resort as much as we do!
Alpe d'Huez has become our favourite family holiday destination! So much so that we decided to find our own ‘home sweet home’... and last April, we found what we were looking for at Le Karen! Our flat is really ideal for us: a cosy place where we can enjoy reading, playing and eating on the terrace as a family... but also go skiing, skating, cycling, running or walking! There's something for everyone, so everyone can choose their favourite activity! But the highlight of our flat is the incredible view from our terrace: from La Meije to Le Taillefer, the mountains stretch out before us, we overlook the resort and never tire of the sunsets over the peaks!
We are committed to ensuring you enjoy all this when we are not in Alpe d'Huez, and hope you will love our simple but cosy flat!
You might think that the name of this accommodation says it all, but that's not the case! While the view from the large balcony is breathtaking, it's not the only major asset of this superb flat.
Located a 2-minute walk from the snow front and ski lifts, you can ski back to the residence via a slope that runs right behind it.
You will be staying on Place du Dôme, surrounded by shops, restaurants and, of course, shops renting out equipment! In just 5 minutes, you can reach the main avenue and its activities such as the swimming pool and outdoor ice rink, other shops and entertainment.
Once you've had your fill of the great outdoors, you can come back and enjoy the warm and bright atmosphere of the flat. The large living room is ideal for spending time with family or friends. There's room for everyone to relax and unwind! The beds are divided between two large bedrooms, each with storage space. The two bathrooms and two separate toilets ensure that everyone can get ready in the morning without any hassle!
At Panorama, everything is designed to help you relax and enjoy yourself... How about a wonderful, successful holiday?
